Main purpose of the role:
We’re looking for a Scanning chargehand to support the day-to-day operational needs of the store, ensuring accurate pricing, product information, order processing, store systems and administration. You’ll also play an important role in supporting the wider store team, assisting across various departments as needed. What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain accurate product information, pricing, PLUs, scale codes, and Shelf Edge Labels (SELs).
- Demonstrate proficiency in the GOLD system, till operations, and scanning wand functions.
- Set up products, promotions, and local suppliers in line with company procedures.
- Complete daily reports, review PCOMMs, and take appropriate corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, legal requirements, and price-checking guidelines.
- Process Chill and Ambient orders, invoices, and supplier claims accurately and on schedule.
- Complete and maintain all required control documentation, system maintenance, and daily backups.
- Provide support with Timepoint administration
- Give assistance with general shop floor operations as required
