We’re currently looking for a Provisions Chargehand to lead and oversee our provisions and dairy department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong retail experience, a hands-on approach, and a passion for maintaining high standards across stock, merchandising, and customer service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in retail grocery, provisions, or dairy management
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to lead a team in a busy environment
• Good knowledge of stock control and merchandising

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the provisions department
• Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, well presented, and rotated correctly
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, deliveries, and waste control
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene
• Lead, motivate, and support team members and manage rosters against department needs
• Work closely with senior management to drive sales and department performance
• Ensure all products meet quality and freshness standards
